Osmotic Engineering was formed in 2019 to provide specialist technical and business development services in forward osmosis, membrane brine concentration and reverse osmosis to end users, original equipment suppliers (OEMs) and component suppliers.
We can provide in-depth technical consultancy and operational support for osmotically driven membrane processes and membrane brine concentration.
The team at Osmotic Engineering is led by Peter Nicoll. Peter has over thirty years experience in desalination and forward osmosis, in both technical and commercial roles. He has invented some of these processes and was key to the development, design and successful deployment of Modern Water’s forward osmosis (FO) and brine concentration based technologies. Peter is a graduate of the University of Glasgow, a Chartered Engineer and a Fellow of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers.
Our team have contributed at many conferences, presenting and chairing sessions at the International Desalination Association, International Water Conference and even the BBC. Many papers and articles have been published.
